Coating is done by heating the MS item / equipments in oven & then fluoropolymer in powder form is electrosticaly sprayed on the same, on coming in contat with the heated surface it melts & the sparaying is repaeated to achieve desired thickness.
The maximum thickness that can be achieved is 1000 microns.
Spray coating is a useful technique on complex shapes or on external surfaces such as agitators and impellors.
PTFE, PVDF, ETFE, ECTFE, PFA coating can be done.
